Statement of Faith

God

We believe in one true and living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal, unchanging, and perfect in all His ways.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The Bible

We believe the Holy Scriptures are inspired by God and are our only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule for faith and obedience.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11)

God’s Sovereign Plan

We believe God has ordained all things according to His own wise and holy will, always for His glory and the good of His people.
(Isaiah 46:9–10; Ephesians 1:11; Romans 8:28)

Creation + Humanity

We believe God created the heavens and the earth, and that He made mankind—male and female—in His image with dignity and purpose.
(Genesis 1:1, 26–28; Psalm 8:3–8)

The Fall + Sin

We believe Adam’s sin brought corruption and death to all humanity. All people are born in sin and under God’s just judgment.
(Genesis 3; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3)

Election + Grace

We believe God chose a people for salvation before the foundation of the world—not based on foreseen faith, but according to His grace.
(Ephesians 1:3–6; Romans 9:10–18; 2 Timothy 1:9)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, truly God in His divine nature and truly man in His human nature.

He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and now reigns in heaven.
(John 1:1,14; Philippians 2:5–11; Luke 1:35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 7:25)

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

By His death, Jesus fully satisfied the justice of God and secured eternal redemption for His people.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7; Hebrews 9:12)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit gives new life to dead hearts, produces true repentance and faith, and sanctifies every believer.
(John 3:5–8; Ezekiel 36:26–27; Romans 8:9–14; Galatians 5:16–25)

Justification + Perseverance

We believe those whom God justifies are also adopted as His children and will persevere in faith to the end.
(Romans 5:1; Galatians 4:4–7; John 10:27–30; Philippians 1:6)

The Church

We believe in one universal Church made up of all true believers in Christ.

Local churches are gatherings of baptized believers who covenant together to follow Jesus under the leadership of pastors and deacons.
(Ephesians 4:4–6; Acts 2:41–42; Philippians 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:1–13)

Baptism + the Lord’s Supper

We believe Christ gave two sacraments to His Church:

  • Baptism—by immersion, for believers only, as a sign of union with Christ.

  • The Lord’s Supper—a meal of remembrance, communion, and hope, in which, Christ is truly spiritually present.
    (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38–41; Romans 6:3–5; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

The Lord’s Day

We believe Sunday is the Lord’s Day, to be kept with joy and reverence for worship, rest, and renewal.
(Revelation 1:10; Acts 20:7; Hebrews 10:24–25)

Civil Government + Christian Liberty

We believe God appoints civil authorities for the public good, and Christians are to obey them in all lawful matters.

Yet Christ alone is Lord of the conscience.

(Romans 13:1–7; 1 Peter 2:13–17; Acts 5:29)

The Return of Christ + Final Judgment

We believe Christ will return to judge the living and the dead.

The wicked will face eternal punishment, and the righteous will enter everlasting joy in the presence of God.
(Matthew 25:31–46; 2 Thessalonians 1:7–10; Revelation 21:1–5)
